Business Development Manager


Job Location: Brandon, Manitoba and Steinbach, Manitoba

The ability to identify and analyze business processes and communicate with owners and C-level management is essential.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned Territory and/or market segment by effectively selling Kelty’s products and /or related services
  • Secure new business accounts/customers
  • Promotes / sells / secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
  • Sustain Sales Activities: appointments, cold calls, proposals, demos and database updates
  • Support all actions in the Order through Install process


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • University or College degree preferred
  • Excellent Communication skills (phone, written, presentation)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability; willingness to take calculated risks and try new approaches
